The government of Sierra Leone has approved Two Billion Leones (Le 2,000,000,000) for the country’s Premier League Board for the reopening of the long awaited Premier League on 27th January 2019.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Approve School Sports Promoters Association (ASSPA), Abu Bakarr Kamara has expressed hope for a new era in football in Sierra Leone, and said that football will only develop when a responsible government is willing to invest and create jobs for the youth.
